More than 300 professionals representing major exploration and production companies, service companies, and research organizations will gather in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the first Annual Midcontinent Coalbed Methane Symposium and Technology exhibition.
Short Course (Sunday November 7)

A one-day short course by Dr. Kashy Aminian will provide the background for making informed decisions about development of the coalbed methane prospects and optimization of the recovery and economics of existing coalbed methane operations. Areas to be covered include: reserve calculation, producibility calculation, well testing. Course will include a manual and software.
Conference (Monday November 8) Presentation List
Get first-hand information from industry leaders in exploration and production of Midcontinent coalbed methane. The conference will consist of multiple presentations from individuals and organizations that are at the leading edge of developing CBM resources in the mid-continent. A luncheon and keynote presentation will highlight the conference. Areas will be provided to discuss cooperation and other deals. Vendors will provide a showcase of the latest advances in products and technologies.
Field Trip (Tuesday November 9)
An all day fieldtrip is being planned by Brian Cardott (Oklahoma Geological Survey) and Larry Brady (Kansas Geological Survey).
